Check Horn Switch

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
NOTE: For model with battery sensor, disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor.
Remove the driver's airbag module. Refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>DRIVER'S AIRBAG MODULE>REMOVAL .
Check that the horn switch connector is connected properly.

Measure the resistance between connectors.

Replace the driver's airbag module if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
