Flat Mat Hook

NOTE: Hook can be replaced without being removed from the vehicle.

Place the backrest in the most upright position.
Remove the resin fastener on the bottom at the back side, and open the fasteners on the left and right sides.

Attach the protective tape (a) to the backrest frame.

Before removing the hooks (a), make markings (b) on the hook installation positions, and then remove the hooks.

NOTE: If protective materials of the flat mat vertical wires (c) have peeled off, apply unwoven cloth tape, etc.

Install new hooks at the marked positions.

CAUTION: During the installation, make sure of the size and direction of the hooks.

NOTE: The figure shows only one side. Install the hooks symmetrically on the left and right sides.

Remove the protective tape, and move the backrest to the original position while being careful not to get the cover wrinkled.
NOTE: If the backrest cover is wrinkled, pull the cover as necessary while performing the work.
