Check Ignition Switch Circuit
- CHECK DATA MONITOR.
Display the data of «BATT voltage (control)» and «IGN voltage» using the Subaru Select Monitor.
NOTE: For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Application help".Does the «IGN voltage» indicate 0 V when the ignition switch is OFF, and fall within a range of ±1 V from the «BATT voltage (control)» when the ignition switch is ON?
Yes: The ignition switch input circuit is OK.
No: Go to 2.
- CHECK IGNITION SWITCH CIRCUIT.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the connector of body integrated unit.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage between the body integrated unit connector and chassis ground.

Is the voltage 10 V or more?
Yes: Check body integrated unit. Refer to BODY CONTROL SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
No: Check the harness for open or short circuit between body integrated unit and fuse.
