AVH On Indicator Light Do Not Come On

Detecting condition: 

• Defective combination meter
• Defective cockpit control module

Trouble symptom: 

When the ignition switch is turned to ON, the AVH ON indicator light does not illuminate even when the AVH switch (center information display) is operated.

1. CHECK AVH SWITCH (CENTER INFORMATION DISPLAY)  .

   Check the AVH switch (center information display). Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

   Is the check result OK?

   Yes:  Go to  2 .

   No:  Replace the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY .

2. CHECK COMBINATION METER  .

   Check the combination meter. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

   Is the check result OK?

   Yes:  Replace the VDCCM and H/U. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>VDC CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (VDCCM and H/U) .

   No:  Replace the combination meter. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER .
