Electric Fluid Pump: Installation
- Install a new O-ring.NOTE: Apply CVTF to the O-rings.
- Install the electric oil pump, and connect the connector.
Tightening torque:
22 N.m (2.2 kgf-m, 16.2 ft-lb)
- Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO)>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Perform the air bleeding operation for the electric oil pump.CAUTION: Bleed air within 5 minutes.
- Remove the filler plug.
- Pour the specified CVTF to the bottom end of filler plug hole.CAUTION: Always use specified CVTF. Using fluid other than specified CVTF will cause malfunction.NOTE: In order to avoid improper filling of CVTF, the upper part of the filler plug hole is stamped with the mark of CVTF-3.
Preparation items:
CVTF: Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>SPECIFICATION>CVTF .
- Remove the plug shown in the figure, and let the CVTF drain from the plug hole for 5 seconds or more.
- Install the plugs with new O-rings.NOTE: Apply CVTF to the O-rings.
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- Pour the specified CVTF to the bottom end of filler plug hole.CAUTION: Always use specified CVTF. Using fluid other than specified CVTF will cause malfunction.NOTE: In order to avoid improper filling of CVTF, the upper part of the filler plug hole is stamped with the mark of CVTF-3.

CVTF: Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>SPECIFICATION>CVTF .
- Remove the filler plug.
- Temporarily install the filler plug.
- Check the CVTF level. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>CVTF>INSPECTION .
