Judge as NG when lambda value is determined as abnormal in accordance with driving conditions such as intake air amount, rear oxygen sensor estimated element temperature, main feedback control, and with front oxygen (A/F) sensor A value.

λ value = Actual air fuel

ratio/Theoretical air fuel ratio

λ>1: Lean

λ < 1: Rich
