DTC B1403: Immobilizer Sub Control Module Collation

Diagnosis start condition:

Battery voltage is 10 V or more.
The remote engine starter was not used to start the engine.

DTC detecting condition:

Except for C0 and C5

Reference code incompatibility between body integrated unit and central gateway control module

For C0 and C5

Reference code incompatibility between immobilizer control module and central gateway control module

Trouble symptom:

Engine will not start.
The security indicator illuminates.

CAUTION: When the central gateway control module is replaced, registration of the immobilizer system is required. For details, refer to the "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER" provided as a separate volume.

REGISTRATION OF CENTRAL GATEWAY CONTROL MODULE .
Perform the central gateway control module registration. Refer to the "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER" provided as a separate volume.

Is registration complete?

Yes : Currently, it is normal. (Registration of central gateway control module was not completed.)

No : Refer to "Correspondence table when registration is not possible" in the "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER" provided as a separate volume. If the registration still does not work properly, replace the central gateway control module. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>GATEWAY CONTROL MODULE .
