Door Outer Handle: Installation: Rear

Before installation, check the following items.
- Lever is free from deformation.
- Grease is applied sufficiently to lever joints.
Using TORX® T30, install the frame assembly rear door outer.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Install the spacer door handle outer A and B.
Install the handle rear door outer.
1. Insert the handle door outer to the frame assembly rear door outer.
2. Lock the holder of the frame assembly rear door outer.
Using TORX® T30, install the cover handle rear outer.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Install the latch and actuator assembly rear. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LATCH AND DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
Install the sealing cover rear door. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>SEALING COVER>INSTALLATION .
Install the trim panel rear door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
