DTC B2608: Seat SW Failure
DTC detecting condition:
When the seat switch input is detected continuously for 10 seconds as ON on both directions.
Or when stuck ON condition (ON status continued for 20 seconds) is detected.
Trouble symptom:
Seat operation stops immediately in manual operation.
Wiring diagram:

- CHECK DTC
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Power Seat Memory] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to Power Seat Memory System (Diagnostics)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .
Is DTC B2608 displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes : Go to 2 .
No : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
- CHECK POWER SEAT CONTROL MODULE

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to Power Seat Memory System (Diagnostics)>Data Monitor .
- Slide SW
- Reclining SW
- Lifter SW
- Tilt SW
Is [Abnormal] displayed in any of the switch statuses?
Yes : Replace the power seat switch. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM .
No : Go to 3 .
- CHECK DTC
.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
