Seal Rubber
- Remove the hood seal rubber while pulling the rubber. Be careful not to tear the rubber.CAUTION:
- Be careful not to damage the surface of headlight assembly during operation.
- Do not reuse hood seal rubber.
- Remove the double-sided tape remaining on the headlight assembly side, then clean the adhesive surface.CAUTION: Do not use any solvents that may damage the headlight assembly lenses.NOTE: If even a slight amount of double-sided tape remains on the adhesive surface, it may lead to improper adhesion.
- Degrease the mounting surface of the hood seal rubber.
- Attach the hood seal rubber.NOTE: Attach the hood seal rubber so that the double-sided tape does not detach from the headlight assembly.
- Make the hood seal rubber come into contact with the ribs.
- When attaching the hood seal rubber, make sure that the ribs fit in the two cutout portions.NOTE:
- Attach it in the arrow direction.
- Make sure that the hood seal rubber does not ride on the corner (a) of the attaching surface.
- Attach the hood seal rubber so that it comes in between the two ribs.
