System Block Diagram
- BSD/RCTA system is configured by the following components.
- The left and right radar sensor main bodies have control ECMs which perform the vehicle identification and the alert judgment.
- The LH/RH radar sensors are identified as Master/Slave for control purposes. They are connected by the private CAN to execute alert judgment through mutual communication. The radar on the Master side receives the input from the vehicle CAN, and information necessary for alert judgment can be obtained from other modules via the vehicle CAN.
- The left and right outer mirror LEDs are directly driven by the signal from the radar sensor.
- Button switching information is transmitted from the cockpit control module via CAN by touch panel operation, and then the status of "BSD/RCTA" is switched between ON and OFF.
