MODELS WITHOUT EyeSight
NOTE:
Since the arm assembly windshield wiper on the left and right sides can interfere with each other, install the passenger's side first.
- Install the arm assembly windshield wiper.
- Assemble the arm assembly windshield wiper so that the blade assembly windshield wiper is aligned to the ceramic print point mark of the windshield glass.
- Tighten the arm assembly windshield wiper to the specified torque, and install the cap windshield wiper.
Tightening torque:
22 N.m (2.2 kgf-m, 16.2 ft-lb)
- Assemble the arm assembly windshield wiper so that the blade assembly windshield wiper is aligned to the ceramic print point mark of the windshield glass.
- Operate the windshield wiper to check that the stop position is aligned with the point mark.
If it is not aligned with the point mark, perform the removal and installation of the windshield wiper over again. Ref. to WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEMS>Front Wiper Arm>REMOVAL .
