Inspection Mode 5

DTC Item Note
B2632 MIRROR D SENSOR CIRCUIT ANOMALOUS STATE -
B2642 MIRROR P SENSOR CIRCUIT ANOMALOUS STATE -

Diagnostic procedure:

  1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Power Seat Memory] and wait for 10 seconds or more. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
  2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [Power Seat Memory] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
    NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
  3. Operate the remote control mirror switch to check that the mirror surfaces of outer mirror (driver's seat) and outer mirror (passenger's seat) can be adjusted manually.
    NOTE: Perform diagnostics with phenomenon in POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS) if there is a fault in manual adjustment of the mirror surface. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostics with Phenomenon>LIST .
  4. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items under the [Data Monitor] of [Power Seat Memory] and check if the display changes according to the mirror surface change due to mirror surface switch operation. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
    • Mirror D Sensor Current Vertical Position
    • Mirror D Sensor Current Horizontal Position
    • Mirror P Sensor Current Vertical Position
    • Mirror P Sensor Current Horizontal Position
    NOTE: If the display does not change corresponding to the mirror surface switch operation, perform the following operation.
    1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
    2. Remove the fuse of Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module and reconnect it.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  5. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [Power Seat Memory] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
    NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).
