Accessory Power Supply Socket: Removal: Front

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
    NOTE:
    • Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position  . Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor  .
  2. Remove the heater control assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>CONTROL PANEL>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the tray center UPR. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the socket assembly.
    1. While releasing the claw, press it in from the rear to remove the socket assembly.
