Cannot Be Customized (Manual Operation Is Possible)

Trouble causes: 

• Body integrated unit malfunction
• LIN communication error
• Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module failure

1. CHECK DTC  .
   1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
   2. Read the DTC of [Power Seat Memory] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

   Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)

   Yes:  Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

   No:  Go to  2 .

2. CHECK CUSTOMIZATION-RELATED SIGNALS  .

   Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .

   • Customize Change Request Signal: Mirror Function
   • Customize Change Value: Side Mirror Auto Folding
   • Customize Change Value: Side Mirror Tilt Down in Reverse
   • Customize Change Request Signal: Mirror Function Reset
   • Auto Retractable Power Outside Mirror Customize
   • Reverse Interlocking Outside Mirror Customize
   • Customize Flag

   Is a customization-related signal OK?

   Yes:  Perform diagnosis for the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

   No:  Replace Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM .
