DTC B260A: Acc

DTC detecting condition: 

When there is a difference between ACC status sent via LIN communication and ACC status sent from direct line for 10 seconds or more continuously.

Wiring diagram: 

Power seat system Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>POWER SEAT SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM .

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Read the DTC of [Power Seat Memory] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Is DTC B260A displayed? (Current malfunction)

    Yes:  Go to  2 .

    No:  Go to  4 .

  2. CHECK IG SIGNAL OF Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module  .

    Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .

    • LIN ACC Signal

    When the ignition switch is turned to ACC/OFF, are the following indications displayed?

    When the ignition switch is turned to ACC: [ON]

    When the ignition switch is turned to OFF: [OFF]

    Yes:  Go to  3 .

    No:  Inspect the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

  3. CHECK IG SIGNAL OF Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module  .

    Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .

    • ACC SW Signal

    When the ignition switch is turned to ACC/OFF, are the following indications displayed?

    When the ignition switch is turned to ACC: [ON]

    When the ignition switch is turned to OFF: [OFF]

    Yes:  Go to  5 .

    No:  Go to  4 .

  4. CHECK HARNESS (OPEN CIRCUIT)  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
    2. Disconnect the Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module connector.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    4. Using the tester, measure the voltage between power seat control module connector and chassis ground.

      Connector and terminal 

      (R502) No. 9 (+) - Chassis ground (-):

    Is the voltage 9.0 - 16 V?

    Yes:  Replace Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM .

    No:  Repair the open circuit in harness between power seat control module connector and fuse.

  5. CHECK POOR CONTACT OF CONNECTORS  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
    2. Check for poor contact of Power Seat and Remote Control Mirror control module connector.

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes:  Repair or replace the poor contact of connector.

    No:  Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time.

    Reproduce the failure, and perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
