Service Plug: Installation

WARNING: The hybrid system includes a high voltage circuit. Mishandling could cause accidents such as electric shock or leak. Always check "WARNING (HYBRID SYSTEM)" and perform the proper operation. Ref. to PRECAUTION/WARNING>WARNING (HYBRID SYSTEM) .

Install the service disconnect plug.
WARNING: Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
CAUTION:
- Before attaching the service disconnect plug, make sure that no parts or tools are left inside, and double check the tightening conditions of high voltage terminals and connector connections.
- If the service disconnect plug was dropped, scratched, or subjected to a strong impact, be sure to replace it with a new part.
1. Insert the service disconnect plug into the holder section of the HV battery.
2. Tilt the lever until it is horizontal.
3. Press the lever toward the right side of the vehicle securely until it locks completely.
Install the service plug cover.
Tightening torque: 7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Install the mat - rear floor.
Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
