Water Tank Pipe Assembly

CAUTION: If the engine coolant is spilt over the engine or the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire.

Connect the water hose.

Install the engine coolant temperature sensor to the water tank pipe assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor>INSTALLATION .
Connect the water hose (A) and preheater hose (B) to the water tank pipe.

Set new O-rings.

Install the water tank pipe assembly and the water hose as an assembly.
Tightening torque:

6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Connect the hose heater inlet.
Connect each hose shown in the figure.

Connect the connector to engine coolant temperature sensor.
Install the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>High Pressure Fuel Delivery Pipe>INSTALLATION>HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE ASSEMBLY .
Install the EGR pipe. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DOTC)>EGR Pipe>INSTALLATION .
Install the intake manifold assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>Intake Manifold Assembly>INSTALLATION .
Install the generator. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>Generator>INSTALLATION .
Install the A/C compressor. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>Compressor>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Fill engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DOTC)>Engine Coolant>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
