Second Seat: Installation

  1. Install the second seats.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the vehicle when bringing the seat in the vehicle.
    • The LH side of bench type is heavy. When removing and installing them, work in a team of two or more persons.
    • Connect the seating sensor connector.
    • After installing the second-row seat, check the following items.
      • Each seat belt operates properly.
      • No harnesses are caught anywhere.
      • Each seat moves smoothly in sliding, reclining and walk-in mechanism.

    Tightening torque: 

    Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description" for the tightening torque, Ref. to SEATS>General Description>COMPONENT>SECOND SEATS .

  2. Install the cover bolt front second and the cover bolt rear second.
  3. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
