DTC P0705: Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit (PRNDL Input): Notes
DTC detecting condition:
Immediately at fault recognition
Trouble symptom:
- Shift characteristics are erroneous.
- The range position of the select lever and the position of shift indicator display do not match.
Wiring diagram:
CVT control system. Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>CVT CONTROL SYSTEM .
- CHECK INPUT SIGNAL FOR TCM
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Move the select lever to each range, and read the data of [P Range] [R Range Signal] [N Range] [D Range Signal] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
Is display "OFF" for the range other than corresponding range?
Yes : Go to 5.
No : Go to 2.
- CHECK HARNESS
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the TCM connector.
- Disconnect the transmission connector.
- Measure the resistance between TCM connector and chassis ground.
