Front Wiper Does Not Operate When Washer Switch Is Operated (Washer Fluid Injection Is Normal)

CHECK DATA MONITOR (FRONT WASHER SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL) .
Using Subaru Select Monitor, display the data of [Front washer switch input]. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .

Does the display of [Front washer switch input] change between ON <-> OFF according to the operation of the switch?

Yes : Go to 2.

No : Go to 3.
CHECK DATA MONITOR (FRONT WIPER LOW OUTPUT) .
Display the data of [Front wiper Low output] using Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to AUTOMATIC LIGHT AND WIPER (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .

Does the data of [Front wiper Low output] indicate "ON"?

Yes : Check harness between body integrated unit and wiper relay unit.

No : Replace the body integrated unit.
CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN BODY INTEGRATED UNIT AND COMBINATION SWITCH (WIPER) .
1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and disconnect the connectors of body integrated unit and combination switch (wiper).
2. Check the harness between body integrated unit and combination switch (wiper).

Is the inspection result OK?

Yes : Replace the body integrated unit.

No : Repair or replace the harness.
