Throttle Body: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Drain engine coolant. Refer to COOLING (H4DOTC)>Engine Coolant>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
  3. Remove the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>Intercooler>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the connector (A).
  5. Disconnect the preheater hose (B).
  6. Remove the throttle body together with the throttle body stay.
