Sunroof Assembly: Installation
CAUTION:
- Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
- For installation of the cover assembly stereo camera, refer to "INSTALLATION", "Stereo Camera" in the "EyeSight" information and observe the precautions for installation. Refer to EyeSight>Stereo Camera>INSTALLATION .
- Be careful not to snag the harness.
- Connect the harness connector firmly.
- Install the tube drains.
- Install the connector holder.
Tightening torque:
Connector holder: 7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Ground bolt: 13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
- Install the mat trunk and the trunk trim panel side. (Sedan model) Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Trunk Room Trim>INSTALLATION .
- Install the mat rear floor side and the spacer rear floor side. (OUTBACK model) Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Quarter Trim>INSTALLATION>OUTBACK model .
- Install the cover side sill front Ft and the cover side sill front Rr. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Lower Inner Trim>INSTALLATION .
- Install the bracket sunroof bolts, the brace COMPL center LWR and the rail assembly.
Tightening torque:
Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description" for the tightening torque. Refer to SUNROOF/T-TOP/CONVERTIBLE TOP (SUNROOF)>General Description>COMPONENT .
- Install the bolt which secures the curtain airbag module.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Connect the harness connector of the tube drain and the motor assembly.CAUTION: Insert the drain tube until it contacts all the way to the end of drain pipe (a).
- Install the trim panel sub assembly. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Roof Trim>INSTALLATION .
- Install the lid assembly. Refer to SUNROOF/T-TOP/CONVERTIBLE TOP (SUNROOF)>Glass Lid>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
