DTC B227D: Keyless Access With Push Button Start

DTC detecting condition: 

Malfunction is detected in CPU monitoring function in the keyless access Control Module.

Trouble symptom: 

CAUTION:
  1. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Power Supply)] and [Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Collation)]. Refer to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
      • Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Power Supply)
      • Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Collation)
    2. Disconnect and reconnect the keyless access Control Module connector.
    3. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTCs of [Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Power Supply)] and [Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Collation)]. Refer to KEYLESS ACCESS WITH PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
    • Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Power Supply)
    • Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Collation)

    Is DTC B227D displayed? (Current malfunction)

    Yes:  Replace the keyless access Control Module. Refer to SECURITY AND LOCKS>KEYLESS ACCESS Control Module .

    No  : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
