Vehicle Setting Function (Car Settings/Car Settings Shortcut Screen) Cannot Be Operated
Probable cause:
Communication error with the related systems
CAUTION:
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Refer to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>CAUTION .
- CHECK DTC

- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Cockpit Control]. Refer to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn the ignition switch OFF → ON.
- Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC of U*** displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes : Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for LAN system. Refer to LAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>Basic Diagnostic Procedure>PROCEDURE .
No : Go to 2.
- CHECK COMBINATION METER

Check whether variant information of the combination meter is correct.
Is the variant information correct?
Yes : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.No : Perform the variant work for the combination meter. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER SYSTEM .
