DTC B2604: Power Seat Memory EEPROM

DTC detecting condition: 

When malfunction occurs in writing/reading the memory of power seat Control Module.

Trouble symptom: 

Since writing to or reading from memory areas cannot be performed properly, the seat position may not be restored properly.

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Refer to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Read the DTC of [Power Seat Memory] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Is DTC B2604 displayed? (Current malfunction)

    Yes  : Replace the power seat Control Module. Refer to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM .

    No  : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
