Rear Regulator And Motor Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the trim panel rear door. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>REAR DOOR .
  3. Remove the rear sealing cover. Refer to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>SEALING COVER>REMOVAL>REAR SEALING COVER .
  4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the glass assembly rear door bolt and hold it at the upper end position.
    1. Install the switch assembly power window and then turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Operate the switch assembly power window to move the glass assembly rear door to the position where the mounting bolts can be seen.
    3. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
    4. Remove the glass assembly rear door bolt and hold it at the upper end position.
      CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass assembly rear door.

  6. Remove the regulator and motor assembly rear.
    1. Disconnect the connector of the motor rear.
    2. Remove the bolts, and then remove the regulator and motor assembly rear.
