Front Hood Opener
CAUTION:
Install the mud guard front so that the front end of the mud guard (b), except for the clip fixing point, comes inside the bumper face (a).
- Before installation, check the following items.
- Cable is free from deformation such as fray.
- Install the bracket lever.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the cable assembly front hood.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
NOTE: Tie and pull the string attached to the body into the vehicle to install the cable clip and cable front hood. - Install the lock assembly front hood. Refer to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FRONT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
- Install the cover LWR driver. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>INSTALLATION .
- Install the mud guard front LH. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>MUD GUARD>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
