Keyless Access Control Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
  3. Remove the grille ventilation assembly center LH. Refer to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE .
  4. Remove the combination meter assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the screw and remove the reinforcement meter.

  6. Remove the keyless access Control Module.
    CAUTION: Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from the keyless access Control Module terminals.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolts and remove the keyless access Control Module.
