DTC B260A: Acc
DTC detecting condition:
When there is a difference between ACC status sent via LIN communication and ACC status sent from direct line for 10 seconds or more continuously.
Trouble symptom:
- Automatic electric retraction system does not extend. (When customizing ACC)
- While the electric retraction system is extended manually or automatically, mirrors stop halfway and do not fully extend. (When cranking)
Wiring diagram:
Power seat system Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>POWER SEAT SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK DTC.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Power Seat Memory] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B260A displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes: Go to 2.
No: Go to 4.
- CHECK IG SIGNAL OF Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module.
Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
- LIN ACC Signal
When the ignition switch is turned to ON/OFF, are the following indications displayed?
When the ignition switch is turned to ON: ON
When the ignition switch is turned to OFF: OFF
Yes: Go to 3.
No: Inspect the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
- CHECK IG SIGNAL OF Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module.
Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
- ACC SW Signal
When the ignition switch is turned to ON/OFF, are the following indications displayed?
When the ignition switch is turned to ON: ON
When the ignition switch is turned to OFF: OFF
Yes: Go to 5.
No: Go to 4.
- CHECK HARNESS (OPEN CIRCUIT).
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the tester, measure the voltage between power seat control module connector and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(R502) No. 9 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
Is the voltage 9.0 - 16 V?
Yes: Replace Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM .
No: Repair the open circuit in harness between power seat control module connector and fuse.
- CHECK POOR CONTACT OF CONNECTORS.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Check for poor contact of Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module connector.
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Repair or replace the poor contact of connector.
No: Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
