Steering Heater Relay

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, always refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM", Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Install the steering heater relay.
  2. Install the body integrated unit (fuse & relay box).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  3. Install the knee airbag module.
  4. Install the cover assembly - instrument panel LWR driver.
  5. Connect the ground terminal to 12V engine restart battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, connect the battery negative terminal.
