Transfer Drive Gear: Assembly

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Using the ST, install the ball bearing.
    NOTE: Use a new ball bearing.
    ST1 499247400 INSTALLER
    ST2 398497701 SEAT

  2. Install the snap ring.

  3. Inspect the clearance between the snap ring and the ball bearing. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT) (TY85)>TRANSFER DRIVE GEAR>INSPECTION .
