Extension Case: Removal

  1. Remove the manual transmission assembly from the vehicle. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT) (TY85)>MANUAL TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Prepare the transmission for overhaul. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT) (TY85)>PREPARATION FOR OVERHAUL .
  3. Remove the extension case.

  4. Remove any remaining liquid gasket from the extension case and transmission case.
