Section 14 (Engine Cooling System (STI)): Radiator: Removal

CAUTION:
The radiator is pressurized when the engine and radiator are hot. Wait until engine and radiator cool down before working on the radiator.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Remove the air intake duct. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (STI)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL .
- Remove the reservoir tank. Refer to COOLING (STI)>RESERVOIR TANK>REMOVAL .
- Drain engine coolant. Refer to COOLING (STI)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
- Disconnect the connector (A) from the main fan motor and the connector (B) from the sub fan motor.
- Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from thermostat cover.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the two engine coolant hoses from the radiator and over flow pipe.
- Remove the radiator upper brackets.
- Move the radiator to the left while lifting it upward.
- Lift the radiator up and remove the radiator from vehicle.
- Remove the radiator lower cushion from the radiator lower bracket.
