Stop Light Switch: Installation

Install the stop light switch.

Adjust the stop light switch position, and then secure the stop light switch by turning it clockwise. Refer to BRAKE>STOP LIGHT SWITCH>ADJUSTMENT .

While pulling up the brake pedal (a) toward you, let the push rod of the stop light switch (b) stroke, and insert it until it reaches the stopper (c).

Install the stop light switch connector.
Connect the connector.

Adjust the stop light switch procedure. Ref. to Adjustment .
Install the knee airbag module.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Install the cover assembly - instrument panel LWR driver.
Connect the battery ground terminal. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
