NOTE: Before installation, remove mud and foreign matter from the disc brake assembly.

Check each part. Refer to BRAKE>REAR DISC BRAKE ASSEMBLY>INSPECTION .
Install the disc brake assembly.
Tightening torque:

73 N.m (7.4 kgf-m, 53.8 ft-lb)
Apply a thin coat of grease to the pad - disc brake rear.
Preparation items:

Grease (pad side (A)): An item contained in the pad kit, Molykote M7439 or equivalent

Grease (pad back (B)): An item contained in the pad kit or equivalent

Install the pad - disc brake rear.
NOTE: Install the parts with the pad wear indicator facing downward.

Install the cross spring.
Install the pin - disc brake.
Install the brake hose bracket.
Tightening torque:

33 N.m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.3 ft-lb)
Connect the brake hose. Refer to BRAKE>BRAKE HOSE>INSTALLATION>REAR BRAKE HOSE .
Bleed air from the brake system. Refer to BRAKE>AIR BLEEDING>PROCEDURE>BRAKE LINE .
Install the rear wheels.
Tightening torque:

120 N.m (12.2 kgf-m, 88.5 ft-lb)
