DTC C2532: Control Module Peripheral Circuit
DTC detecting condition:
- When storage medium IC malfunction inside the power steering control module is detected at initial check.
- When storage medium IC malfunction inside the power steering control module is detected after assist starts with 500 rpm engine speed reception.
Trouble symptom:
- The steering wheel operation feels heavy.
- STEERING warning light illuminates.
- EyeSight steering support function does not operate. (Models with EyeSight)
CAUTION:
Do not clear the memory when checking the DTC.
NOTE:
When this code is displayed, replace the steering gearbox. Refer to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>ELECTRIC POWER STEERING GEARBOX
