DTC C2531: Control Module CPU
DTC detecting condition:
When microcomputer malfunction is detected after the ignition switch is ON.
Trouble symptom:
- The steering wheel operation feels heavy.
- STEERING warning light illuminates.
- EyeSight steering support function does not operate. (Models with EyeSight)
CAUTION:
Do not clear the memory when checking the DTC.
NOTE:
When this code is displayed, replace the steering gearbox. Refer to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>ELECTRIC POWER STEERING GEARBOX
