Fuel Pump Circuit

CHECK OPERATING SOUND OF FUEL PUMP.

Make sure that the fuel pump operates for two seconds when turning the ignition switch to ON.

NOTE: Fuel pump operation can be executed using Subaru Select Monitor. For detailed operation procedures, refer to the "Active Test". Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>ACTIVE TEST .

Does the fuel pump emit operating sound?

Yes: Check the fuel injector circuit. Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>DIAGNOSTICS FOR ENGINE STARTING FAILURE>FUEL INJECTOR CIRCUIT .

No: Display the DTC. Refer to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>OPERATION .
