DTC B2C02: RRC Sonar Control Module Circuit

Outline of diagnosis: 

Detect the malfunction of the RAB control module.

Time needed for diagnosis: 

• 600 ms (when two waves transmitted)
• 1200 ms (when four waves transmitted)

Recovery conditions: 

Ignition switch OFF → ON

1. CHECK DTC. 

   Read the DTC relating the «Reverse Automatic Braking» using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to REVERSE AUTOMATIC BRAKING (DIAGNOSTICS)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

   Is a DTC other than DTC B2C02 displayed? (Current malfunction)

   Yes:  Perform the diagnosis for DTC other than DTC B2C02.

   No:  Replace the RAB control module. Refer to REVERSE AUTOMATIC BRAKING>REVERSE AUTOMATIC BRAKING control module .
