Bushing Rear - Front Arm
- Before installation, inspect the following items and replace any faulty part with a new one.
- Check the front arm for damage or cracks, and replace if defective.
- Visually check the bushing for abnormal cracks, fatigue or damage.
- Visually check the dust cover on the ball joint for damage.
- Install the rear bushing to the bushing rear - front arm.CAUTION: Confirm the installing direction and install securely.
- Install the spacer - arm front (a) and the stopper - rubber front (b).
- Install the rear bushing so that the rib (a) faces the upper side of the vehicle and the protrusion (b) faces the rear side of the vehicle.
- Install the plate - arm front (d) and the stopper - rubber front (c).
- Using new self-locking nuts, install the rear bushing to the bushing rear - front arm by matching the alignment marks that have been marked when removing.
Tightening torque:
140 N.m (14.3 kgf-m, 103.3 ft-lb)
- Front arm assembly replacement: align the alignment mark (a) of the bushing rear - front arm with the cutout portion of the front arm assembly.
- Bushing rear - front arm replacement: align the alignment mark (b) on the front arm assembly with an imaginary line extending from the rib portion of the bushing rear - front arm.
- Front arm assembly replacement: align the alignment mark (a) of the bushing rear - front arm with the cutout portion of the front arm assembly.
- Install the spacer - arm front (a) and the stopper - rubber front (b).
