DTC B1763: Occupant Detection Module Calibration Checksum
DTC detecting condition:
- Malfunction is detected on vehicle delivery or at memory writing for «Rezero».
- Occupant detection control module is faulty.
- CHECK DTC

Read the DTC of the occupant detection system. Ref. to OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .
Are DTCs other than DTC B1762 and B1763 displayed for the occupant detection system?
Yes: Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .
No: Go to 2 .
- PERFORM RE-ZEROING

Perform «Rezero». Ref. to OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>Rezero .
Did «Rezero» complete properly?
Yes: Go to 3 .
No: Replace the occupant detection system (seat cushion & frame assembly). Ref. to SEATS>FRONT SEAT>DISASSEMBLY>PASSENGER'S SEAT .
- CHECK DTC

- Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Ref. to OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>Clear Memory Mode .
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and wait for 60 seconds or more.
- Read the DTC of the occupant detection system. Ref. to OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .
Is DTC B1763 displayed?
Yes: Replace the occupant detection system (seat cushion & frame assembly). Ref. to SEATS>FRONT SEAT>DISASSEMBLY>PASSENGER'S SEAT .
No: When DTC other than B1763 is displayed for the occupant detection system, perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTC. Ref. to OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) . When DTC is not displayed, end the diagnosis.
