Front Sub Sensor: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the front sub sensor.
    1. Remove the clips and remove the air intake duct. (When removing the sensor RH)

    2. Remove the bolt, and then detach the front sub sensor.
    3. Pull the lock arm (a) and disconnect the airbag connector to remove the front sub sensor. Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>Airbag Connector>PROCEDURE>FRONT SUB SENSOR AND FRONT DOOR IMPACT SENSOR .
