Power Rear Gate Drive Unit: Removal

Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the rod - power rear gate. Ref. to POWER REAR GATE SYSTEM>Power Rear Gate Rod>REMOVAL
Remove the trim panel - rear apron LH and trim panel - rear quarter pillar UPR rear LH PRG.
Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR QUARTER TRIM>REMOVAL

Remove the power rear gate drive unit (PRG D/U).

Remove the harness clip, and disconnect the connector.

NOTE: Pull the slide lock in the arrowed direction, and disconnect the PRG control module connector by pressing in the lock.
