Unable To Set Positions Into Memory (Driver's Seat With Memory Function)
- CHECK POWER SEAT CONTROL MODULE
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Display «Set SW»«Memory SWl»«Memory SW2» on «Data monitor» of the power seat control module using Subaru Select Monitor.NOTE:
- For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Application help".
- Perform the inspection after an item is selected in the data select display.
Does the display change corresponding to the switch operation?
Yes: Go to 5 .
No: Go to 2 .
- CHECK SWITCH
.
- Disconnect the memory switch connector.
- Check memory switch. Ref. to SEATS>Power Seat System>INSPECTION>CHECK MEMORY SWITCH (DRIVER'S SEAT WITH MEMORY FUNCTION) .
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes: Go to 3 .
No: Replace the memory switch assembly.
- CHECK HARNESS
.
- Disconnect the power seat control module connector.
- Measure the resistance between the memory switch connector and power seat control module connector.

(R155) No. 13 - (D143) No. 3:
(R155) No. 14 - (D143) No. 2:
(R155) No. 29 - (D143) No. 8:
Is the resistance less than 10 Ω?
Yes: Go to 4 .
No: Check power seat harness.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Measure the resistance between the memory switch connector and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(R143) No. 1 - Chassis ground:
Is the resistance less than 10 Ω?
Yes: Go to 5 .
No: Check body harness.
- SYSTEM INITIALIZATION
.
Initialize memory seat system. Ref. to SEATS>Power Seat System>ADJUSTMENT .
Is the initialization completed successfully?
Yes: Replace the power seat control module.
No: Ref. to SEATS>Power Seat System>INSPECTION>UNABLE TO PERFORM INITIALIZATION (DRIVER'S SEAT WITH MEMORY FUNCTION) .
