Multi-function Display (MFD): Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE .
  3. Remove the panel center UPR, and remove the audio assembly or navigation assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>AUDIO>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the grille speaker assembly CTR.

    NOTE: Lightly push up the back of the grille speaker assembly CTR, hook the finger to the end portion and pull it toward you to remove it.
  5. Remove the multi-function display.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the multi-function display or instrument panel.
  1. Remove the screws and release the clip.
  2. Pull the multi-function display assembly toward yourself, and disconnect the connector.
    • Model without driver monitoring system x2

    • Model with driver monitoring system
    CAUTION: Do not disconnect the connector on the driver monitoring unit side.
    Disconnect the connector at arrow mark position.

  3. Remove the screws and then remove the multi-function display.
