Cannot Be Customized
Trouble causes:
- Body integrated unit malfunction
- LIN communication error
- Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module failure
- CHECK BATTERY
.
Check the battery unit. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO)>BATTERY>INSPECTION .
Is the battery OK?
Yes : Go to 2 .
No : Replace or charge the battery.
- CHECK FUSE
.
Check the fuse. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>RELAY AND FUSE .
Is the fuse OK?
Yes : Go to 3 .
No : Replace the fuse. When the replaced fuse is blown immediately, repair the power supply circuit.
- CHECK CUSTOMIZATION-RELATED SIGNALS

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Seat Memory]. Ref. to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
- Mirror setting change request
- Reverse-linked mirror change value
- Door mirror customization reset request
- Reverse-linked mirror ON/OFF setting
- Customization operation flag
Is a customization-related signal OK?
Yes : Go to 4 .
No : Replace Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM .
- CHECK HARNESS (OPEN CIRCUIT)

- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module connector.
- Disconnect the body integrated unit connector.
- Using a tester, measure the resistance between Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module connector and body integrated unit.

Is the resistance less than 10 Ω?
Yes : Replace Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module. Ref. to SEATS>POWER SEAT SYSTEM .
No : Repair the open circuit in harness between Power Seat & Remote Control Mirror Control Module connector and body integrated unit.
