Stopping Keyless Access System Function By Door Open/Close Procedure

  1. Check that the vehicle status is as follows:
    • Ignition switch OFF
    • One window is completely open
    • Keyless access system is activated (or disabled if re-activating)
  2. Sit in the driver's seat with the door closed and press the door lock switch to UNLOCK once.
  3. Open the driver's door within five seconds.
  4. Within 5 seconds, with the driver's door opened, slowly press the door lock switch to UNLOCK twice.
  5. Within 30 seconds after finishing step 4, perform the closing → opening operation of the driver's door twice.
  6. Within 30 seconds after finishing step 5, with the driver's door opened, slowly press the door lock switch to UNLOCK twice.
  7. Within 30 seconds after finishing step 6, perform the closing → opening operation of the driver's door once.
  8. Within five seconds after finishing step 7, close the drivers door.
    NOTE:
    • Perform the same procedures to re-activate the keyless access system from the disabled condition.
    • In step 4) and step 6), press the door lock switch completely. The function may not work properly if the switch is pressed shortly.
