WARNING:
When performing inspection mode E on a public road, pay sufficient attention to the traffic condition and give the highest priority to safe driving.
- Make sure that the battery voltage is 12 V or more.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, clear the memory of [Engine Control System]. Refer to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Drive for approximately 30 L (7.9 US gal, 6.6 Imp gal) of fuel.NOTE:
- It is acceptable to drive the vehicle intermittently.
- Do not disconnect the battery terminals while diagnosing. (Data will be cleared by disconnecting the battery terminals.)
- Read the temporary code using the Subaru Select Monitor or general scan tool. Refer to COMMON (DIAG)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
