Except For IMPREZA Model

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the reservoir tank. (Hybrid model) Refer to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>RESERVOIR TANK>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the rubber cap and disconnect the terminal.

  4. Remove the oil pressure switch.
    CAUTION: Use cloth to catch the engine oil in order to prevent it from splashing.

  5. Remove seal material from the oil pressure switch and the thread portions of the chain cover.
